Why do so many American's spell Canada Canadia? It's far too common to be a typo, and I isn't anywhere near A or D. Just an interesting observation.

I don't think it's spelling. I think since some Americans figure they are from America, Canadians must be from Canadia. And they go through life spelling and pronouncing it that way.
