Default Warm(ish) Weather

Anyone else thinking of taking their car out of their winter storage?

14day forecast: http://www.theweathernetwork.com/fourteenday/caon0696

only 3 days of "snow/flurries", which i think wont even happen...

Im on the fence here, any thoughts?

Winter tires aren't just for snow, they are for temperature. Summer tires stiffen up and lose traction in these conditions.

Good point on the traction, my tires are bald, first thing i do when i take the car out is new tires, put in tpms while at it, then tint, fix camber and then install subwoofer

I hear what you are saying. In reality what is happening is, you are feeling the warm weather, your brain is falsely telling your it may be spring. It is not.

Don't pull your car out till the 3rd week of March, weather dependent.

mine will be on the road 2nd week in march! if we run into some bad weather, thats what car pooling is for haha sucks but its better then ending up in the ditch from some slippery roads and summer(bald in my case) tires!

I just bought my Z this week. I had to pick it up in Woodbridge and bring it home to Barrie. The weather was nice and mild so I picked it up Wednesday afternoon, brought her home and drove it around for most the night. I took it to work Thursday and almost had to leave it there because of the snow and cold. Friday night was my final rip in the Z before I had to put it in storage Saturday morning.

As mentioned above summer tires stiffen big time in the cold, it was like driving with plastic tires Friday night as it was -10 up here (no snow, roads were dry). Traction was so bad I couldn't even put my foot down in 3rd without spinning... too bad the Z can't do that on a hot day!

It was depressing exposing the Z to the sand and salt, i'm glad it is out of the driveway... out of site and out of mind for the most part :S.
