Default OEM Brembo Rotors and Rim fitment question

I recently tried to put on my winter rims and tires and ran into a little problem. So on the OEM Brembo Rotors there is this extra bolt/nut that sticks out from the rotor. This bolt is causing my winter rims not to fit....I have included a picture below in case I am not describing the issue properly. As you can see on the rotor on the left side in the picture there's this extra nut that sticks out

My question is, is there a purpose and use for this bolt? is it something that I can just remove? or grind off?

Don't grind it. I believe you can just unscrew it or you can pull it out. I'm not sure which because i've never had to remove them, but they are meant to come off easy. You don't need them. They are just there to keep people from mixing up the fronts with the rears.
