Default What do you think my car is worth?

Thinking of selling the Z in the spring. Not sure what the market is like for the car anymore. I have browsed autotrader but would like some input from you guys.

Car is a 2006 350z. Non GT. Forget what the model is now. I bought it new in 2006.

55,xxx km
Stock
Extremely well taken care of. Doesn't burn oil. No accidents. Clear bra on entire bumper and portion of hood and side mirros. Paint still shines like new as its always been parked in a garage.

Anyways this is not a for sale thread. I just want to know what a good price to expect for the car is or what to price it at when/if I do sell it in the spring.

I would look it up on KBB.com... that should give you an idea what it's worth, and what to ask for.

I would put it out there for about 17.5. Depends how fast you want to sell it.

Edmunds usually gives a better "real world" price. KBB doesn't seem to be that accurate a lot of the time. I always check both.

I've got the exact same year and model. You should have more potential buyers in the spring. Positives are that it has relatively low km's and you are the original owner... that goes a long way in my books. Sounds like a clean car.

I would list it between 18-19k.

all the best.

aren't KBB and Edmunds american sites? The prices they would list would definitely be applicable in the US, but in Canada we often have very different Wholesale/Retail pricing for basically the same cars.
I remember when S2000 came out and it was listed for 50k here in Canada, but the retail price for that car was 35k in the US.

Don't we have some Canadian sites to check retail/wholesale price for a car?

Def around 20k depending on the model. 55,000km is not much but the 06' has a terrible resale value because of the oil burning.
