I need to get mine pulled back into spec soon cause just from lookin at it you can see a diagonal slant. I would have it professionally aligned and have em check the tires at the same time.

I will be handing over my Z to the serivce center for a checkup and will ask them to check alignment and tires.

Based on few runs last night with AZ everything seems fine he said other than stock tires really suck and should be replaced

Im looking into changing tires for now or mabye getting new wheels and tires..

yep, the stockers really don't fit the bill -- most people around here say the Potenza S03's and Bridgestone KDW-2's are the way to go -- i'm getting the KDW-2's on my new rims next month, so if you've still got the stock tires, i'll let you know how they go

hang on, i goofed... the KDW-2's are BFGoodrich, not Bridgestone

the complete name for them is the g-Force T/A KDW-2

sorry 'bout that!

it makes sense that you are losing traction at 4k and on up. our power band REALLY comes alive right around 4.5k and pulls hard until 6. i've noticed this the last week or so. def get rid of the stock tires man. they suck. if you REALLY want some traction, get Nitto 555R's. i'm not sure how they fare on Z's, but my buddy got them for his 97 trans am, and it dropped his 60 foot time by .3 seconds. i'd say, def nice improvement.
