Default UR Crank pulley installation question with pics

OK I got my UR pulley on but I'm trying to find out if it's going on far enough. Compared to the OEM it's not going on flush with the motor. In the pictures you can see about 1/4 of an inch of the sleeve exposed.

I'm wondering if anyone has any pics of their installed from the top down and whether or not their pulley went on completely flush like the oem?

It's supposed to be like that. It doesn't have to go all the way in.

Put the belts on, if the belts are lined up properly, install is good.

Was the install pretty easy? I just bought one and I'm still debating if I should just pay someone.

It can easliy be done with jack stands and a breaker bar.

What are you talking about? Degrees? in terms of install?

"Crankshaft Pulley Bolt Torque Specifications
• First Step: 29 – 36 ft-lbs. / 348 – 432 in-lbs. / 39 – 49 NM.
• Second Step: The head of the pulley bolt has 6 lines, each representing 60-66 degrees of rotation. Choose one of the lines after completing step 1 then
make a mark on the pulley at that line then turn the the bolt until the line before the original line reaches the mark on the pulley."

So this means there is a mark on the pulley??

edit: duh i have to mark the pulley..

Mark the pully when you get to around 35 ft/lbs of torque- from that point, you want to to torque to the the next mark.

My take, torque the b*tch to about 50 ft/lbs and call it a day!
