its solid metal, probably cut on a cnc machine, oh wait, I can't be certain of that, I was thinking of my $5 ebay oil cap (which is in my oven after being powdercoated candy red as we speak)

The car loses power, the metal cap weighs more than the plastic one.

It costs so much because it says Nismo and is a well designed cnc cut metal oil cap. Its no worse than the $100+ Nismo shift *****. At least it lets people know you got money to blow.

^LOL...that was good....

i remember the fued going on in the classifieds a while back regarding the nismo cap- is it true that it is just a plain cnc aluminum cap with a nismo sticker that you apply after its on? if thats the case...damn that just sucks. an arm and a leg for a cheap cap and sticker...."but it's jdm yo!"

Just to make sure, do a dyno test on both caps and post the results for us.
