I know this is off topic, but does anyone know if the DC sports STB will clear Crawfords plenum? It is full titanium i belive, and the way it is shaped it looks like it might mount in front of the plenum similar to Crawfords.

That's probably my largest regret - the UR flywheel. Especially when it comes to bang for the buck.

It certainly gives the car and extra kick in the lower gears and all is well on the days it's quiet. But other days it's noticeably noisy.

I'm not yet convinced it's worth the $1K investment...

hmm, i know what u mean; it has me worried. i'm thinkin the one-piece chromoly units may b a little quiter though, plus, installin a clutch at the same time would help justify install costs.

If you want a lighter flywheel that feels like stock, go with the JWT.

Its actually the mod I wish I would have done sooner. I have so much fun taking advantage of the flywheel.

Noise does suck, but I got over it.

I'm glad to hear that you're working on a new design. The current design seems to be weak against twisting in that when upward force is applied to one end of the strut tower (during cornering), the bar mount will want to twist and deflect rather than trying to push against the other shock tower. I hope the new design take care of this problem. Furthermore, the stock tower comes pretensioned thanks to the adjustable bolts. This increases the torsional rigidity, but aftermarket ones, including Crawford's, does not have such a feature. I hope you guys consider this when you design the new tower bar.
