Bottom line, the engine moves a LOT less when properly installed and shifting has become extremely precise. No extra vibrating in my particular case. Not bad for $49 to my door.

Stillen Dampener with APS TT
Is it possible to install the Stillen Torque Dampener with the APS TT? There seems to be a pipe that runs right where the dampener is suppose to be.

When I mounted that EBAY TD, I did it in hast without thinking... it's deluboyz or something torque damper. He is literally sourcing a direct copy of the Stillen one now
Anyway, when I first picked this up it just had two steel plates in the kit, so I did what I could. That picture depicts an INCORRECT way of mounting it. It's not effective! A while back one of the guys brought this to my attention, so I re-considered things and discovered another way of mounting it. 5x more effective!
What I need to do now is talk to Hydrazine about creating a product using this mounting technique. It would clear just about everything and not put repetitive stress on ONE mounting bolt, like Stillen's TD does.
I did this because of my headers, HFCs and exhaust... I was trying to reduce repetive twisting caused by the soft engine mounts. It seems like it's decreased movement by about 50% or more. The engine will always flex some, because the TD flexes internally due to the rubber bushings.

If anyone is looking for install instructions just go to Stillens website, click on the engine torque damper and to the left of the part number there will be a little wrench which are the install instructions from stillen.
p.s. the sidenote says these will not work for 2007 Z's, I dont know how true this is.
