well, if youd didn't get it yet, I hold your dyno numbers with a grain of salt (BS to be blunt).

since everysingle review out there places the new 350z as fast as the old one, I do not understand why you are producing SO much power. Do you have dynoes of 287 hp engine on that particular dyno? I dynoed 245rwhp stock, as I said before, your's are only irrelevant speculations, you cannot say you are producing as much power as this that or this.

New engine has same compression ratio as old engine according to nissan.co.jp. (10.3). Yes, they are ALL minor tweaks.

You can think my dynos are BS, honestly I don't care. Once more people start dynoing the 300hp engine you will see that I am not. And yes the shop I dynoed at has plenty of stock 03 and 04 dynos and some with mods. In a few weeks I will be there and I will print out a comparison if you would like.

BS not in the sense that you are a liar or that it's not true. In the sense that it's not enough numbers to draw DEFINITIVE conclusions. Your car may be a freak, or your dyno may be a freak or whatnot.

If it's producing so much power, why isn't the new Z faster? I see the same times on 1/4 mile..

If you take into account 15% drivetrain loss then 255rwhp is 300crank.

FWD cars have 15% drivetrain loss... the Z is more 18-19%

drivetrain loss calculations depend on the dyno, no 2 dyno are the same

Ok so it is around 308 crank. If you dynoed 245rwhp stock, then your numbers are alittle higher then advertised...just like mine.
