Default New Addition to the AAM Spec Horsepower Drive!! - HEADERS!!

Product Release!

AAM is proud to announce we have teamed up with STRUP Performance Upgrades to carry their full line of high-quality stainless steel headers for the 350Z and G35!

History:

STRUP Performance Upgrades is the culmination of 25 years of experience and knowledge of the Japanese Import Performance Exhaust Industry. Co-Founder Charlie Wenstrup has worked with and run several leading manufacturing companies that produce Japanese products from Cold Air Induction Systems, to Exhaust Systems, to elaborate street and full-race Header Systems. Charlie created STRUP Performance Upgrades with the intention of bringing extremely well engineered and top quality products to market at a fair price.

Performance:

As many of us know increasing the horsepower of an engine breaks down to two simple processes - getting the maximum amount of air in and out of the motor as quickly as possible. After the intake has been upgraded, the next logical step is to address the exhaust system. The factory headers on the 350Z are restrictive and create excess back pressure. Upgrading to a high-quality header system will result in a substantial increase in mass and velocity of exhaust flow, allow for a reduction in backpressure and thermal stress, and help unleash the engines’ potential for increased power and torque.

Quality:

The STRUP Performance Stainless Steel Headers for the 350Z/G35 Coupe does just this. Designed with best fitment in-mind for an easier than average installation, the T-304 stainless steel headers are made utilizing 16-Gauge mandrel bent tubing, thick 3/8” stainless steel flanges, and full TIG welded construction.

Proof:

Below is a picture of these awesome looking polished stainless steel headers and a dyno chart showing significant improvement over the stock system.

These units are now included in our Horsepower Drive at an unbelievable introductory price.

I would if it was not costing me $1200 to get my Intial D kit done. I can't believe I have only bought rims exhaust and body kit and I have already put $7000 into my car with only 3 things. I guess they are the most expensive out of the bunch of items I want other then the coilovers and F/I. How long is this price good for. I might be able to sell some stock and get them. Also, I see you have a package deal, what would the price be like without the y-pipe since I won't need one since I am true dual?

We have not had the opportunity to install a set here at the shop yet, but according to Charlie at Strup it is very similair to other header installs (Crawford excluded). 8 Hours Max.

Most likely not very well. The orientation of the Maxima motor makes it sp that the outlets on the Strup headers are facing the wrong way. It would take alot to make them work.
