basically, since it a locking lsd, it will try to make the two driving wheels spin at the same speed. when driving fast and constantly braking/accelerating and shifting, you will have to be smooth or else it will essentially lock the wheels, causing the car to "kick" out when you downshift and let the clutch out too fast.
im not to great with words, im sure someone can explain further into detail though.

yes, you do have to watch out because of the 2-way setup. it will surprise you if you do not know how to drive it fast.
Can you give further detail on what you have to watch out for when driving the 2-way LSD fast?

the fact that this lsd is spring loaded instead of using the regular cone type plates.
"The Type RS is a low initial torque type using RS springs. With the Type RS, the initial torque is absorbed by the RS springs therefore the initial torque comes on gently compared to the Type MZ which comes on stronger as it uses cone plates and response of the LSD is better, as the friction is lower."
Got mine early this month, no need to worry about the pumkin right? Should pretty much fit within the OEM setup?
Also is it normal to install then fill, then after 500 miles or so drain then refill?

After searching and reading through a few threads I have decided to go with the Cusco RS but when I enquired about this unit they mentioned that there were the following models in the RS range:
1 & 2way version or
1.5 & 2way version
The question is which is better suited for me. My main use of the car is going through the twisties and the occasional track work. I do not drift nor do I intend to (on purpose anyway)
Now speaking with a few guys they all mention that the 2 way is mainly for drift but reading the threads most guys use the 2 way for the track so a little lost to make a decision.

they are the same exact unit - one comes preset at 2 way, and can be adjusted to 1.5 way and the other comes set at 1.5 way and can be adjusted for 2 way
I cannot imagine driving a car with a 2 way diff all the time unless I revelled in hanging the tail out sideways - 1.5 way is far more useable, especially for street, but also on the track IMHO

I found this image on the ATS site which answers most of it for me
