the true os giken unit though, its a wonderful piece of work, quieter and smoother then anything else.
anyways, youll be fine with a 2 way, daytona and i both daily drive ours with 2 ways, and if you get the cusco RS there wont be any noise.

Thanks Daytona,
I might have to look into buying one of these, you guys all like the OS/Giken unit the best huh? Which one does KAAZ sell, they have a 2 way for 895. Wondering if that's good enough for me, i just want it for fun, no real racing.

i like the cusco unit over the kaaz, but to be honest ive never driven a kaaz, im just workign it off of personal assumption, but i know daytona has driven both and prefers cusco

if you do have the big bucks for it though, OS giken is the way to go. so many ways to set it up, its insane. i woulda bought it, but i just couldnt justify $1400 compared to the deal i got on my cusco unit. i believe hopupracing.com has a nice deal for the cusco rs unit for $929 w/free shipping.
if you want a street setup, i highly reccomend the cusco. in my mind: os giken>cusco>nismo=kaaz. i would suggest to you for your street driving and fun spirited driving this cusco unit at 60% at 1.5 way setting.

humm, say mid corner, the cusco unit will bite once you step on the gas, causing immediate lockup, while on the os giken, the delay will let you have a little more time before it completely locks up, thus giving a smoother and seemless action of the lsd. in other word, it wont lock up immediately like a conventional lsd, but you can basically tune the lsd to your liking, whether you want it on immediately or a little lag time so you can set yourself before you want the lsd to become active.

so how do we adjust the Os Giken unit? through exchanging the spring?
