Can I please get a quote on the purchased, installed, and lubed, (basically OTD) price on the 3.9 final drive?

I will drive out to Duarte.

Also, I assume this can be done in 1 day, is that correct?

I heard that Performance doesnt do the 3.9 installs anymore. But if they are again it would be nice to know. They do great work.

so they sell it to you and ship you off to another dealer?

 

From what I heard they sell the part but may recommend an outside installation source. Im sure there is nothing shady about this, I have had tons of mods done here and trust them a lot. Im sure Tony or Jason will explain the reasoning behind it. Tony explained it to me but I cant rememeber why.

I wish they still did it though i trustthem with my baby (Z).

 

As long as I'm directed to a reliable dealer/mechanic at a fair install price... I guess that's fine by me. Come to think of it, it would be nice if the installer were closer to my apartment...

 

Id like to know too, I live in the socal area. I am thinking about having the 3.9 put in my Z toward November time, That will give me time to save up for it. I dont mind drive as long as i can get it done in a day at a place that knows what they are doing.

performance nissan did not do the 3.9 install when I had it done back late nov. They farmed the job out to a shop

But, we will give you the name and number of the rear end shop we sent them out to.
