I went with the Nismo's after much consideration. They were supposedly built with our engine design in mind. Anyway, expect your idle to change a little. It took a little while to get it right but now she purrs like a kitten. The Nismo's are not as aggressive as others but the response is very noticeable at 4500 rpms. I would not go back as I am very happy with mine. I did have my ecu reflashed also which really helped especially with the idle. My service manager has a friend who works for Nissan's race division and he was a great help in telling us everything that needed to be done to compliment these cams. I have the Nismo headers, exhaust, suspension, kinetix v 4 with the high flow cats and I really couldn't be happier. I have no plans for forced induction and am totally happy with the response and sound of my car. The only thing that I intend upon doing soon is the 3.9 final drive. I think that will be the exclamation point for my car. I hope this helps and good luck with your mods.

well, every cam out there is built with the VQ in mind.....and there are lots of cams out there

you have to define what you are expecting to get out of it, and what other mods you have or will be adding now or down the road. What works for NA is not always best for FI and vice versa - though there are a few dual purpose cams as well

well KMXxBadboy ... i am trying to get the best out of the car without forced induction..what worries me is that where i am at..there are few if any reliable tuners..and it costs a fortune..moreover..there aint any reflashes available..so basically i am gonna be running those cams with no reflash..is that safe? i dont care about the idle as long as the car feels healthy
*edited. i will be getting headers and a full exhaust..a pop chrger and a plenum...for now...some more stuff in the very near future.

thanks rgcarmack14 for the reply...

thanks rgcarmack14 for the reply...
So many fast cars in Dubai. I think you will regret go N/A when you are at your limit and get passed in an exotic by some rich spoiled Arab kids. Plus if you're not happy with the lopey unpredictable cam you will not be able to go back without tearing down the engine. Get a Turbonetics and be done.
