Default Car dying question....

Cant find this on a search anywhere... I tried to do a standstill burnout for the first time in my car the other day and as soon as i dropped the clutch and im guessing the computer noticed the car was on break and gas at same time just died.... right there. The next time i tried to peel out basically then get on breaks while still riding gas and same thing... it died. I didnt have traction control on either so it didnt cut off like it does when u have it on, it completely died... now my question is

http://www.clemsonpilot.com/joez/Zburnout.wmv

^^ When I tried to do this it died ^^ I know you can burn out for warming tires cause ive seen it... but it dies when i try. Can someone either explain how to burn out in this car so maybe i know if im doing it wrong... or just tell me why it dies...

No im not saying I want to sit there and burnout my whole tires... its for basic warming up tires before a run... simple as maybe 5secs of burnout, not 2mins...

there is a by pass switch you can buy from the forums that will allow you to apply your brakes and warm up your tires.

ya it is a safety device nissan thought to include for people that panic and hit the brake and gas at the same time, so it cuts power to the motor. pretty stupid deal, but we are stuck with it. there is a switch a member sells to bypass it. pretty simple i guess.

...and unless you're a one way check valve, you're going to tell us, right?

yes but when you dont have a lot of room sometimes it just helps to be able to burn out... like sitting at a light... you cant really start 30feet from a light and peel out without drawing to much attention but doing a burnout 5ft from light coming up to light boom go... less time, less attention
