Default Does anyone know about this aftermarket ECU?

Saw it on the japanparts.com website. By a company called IMPUL...high power control unit......around $1700. No other real details given.

It's JDM only.

Yeah, but they give a price in US dollars. That would make one believe that it can be obtained in the U.S. I've been on this site before, and this is definitely a recent addition. Will it work on a US spec Z. Anyone know the exact differences between the stock JDM ECU vs. the stock US ECU?

Specifically says "does not work on US models" in the V35/G35 section but quotes a different part number in the zed section so ?? The JDM ecu is set for 100 octane fuel that I do know.

The ecu's available aftermarket in Japan are not compatable with our cars here in the USA unfortunately.

and to add fuel to the fire, EVERY ecu "upgrade" in Japan, from Mine's, to Impul to you name it, uses Techtom software to reflash. Techtom is distributed in the US by Technosquare - and all the places that offer ecu flashing in the US use the Techtom software.
