me too, either put regular gauges, or perhaps digital gauges on an LCD screen. that way you close the door and its totally stock. no civics revving at you at stoplights cause they think you must have a turbo or something.

Why Autometer... No way will I put those gauges in my Z... Sorry, but Autometer to me is very tachy"Ricey" IMO. Autometer is for race car with no look in mind.... I would rather get some nice Blitz Gauges, or even Greddy at that... More of style than just something so plain on a beautiful car....

I'm referring to the pod, not an autometer gauge. Those things are gross. I like omari and VDO. But as nice as a gauge is, it won't look good dangling around the dash. we need some mounting hardware.

it should be really easy, just a peice of aluminum, find the gauges you want, and their mounting diameters. and then he can have them laid out on the area and holes cut.

I still think digital would be awesome tho. select the gauges you want to see, and even set the sizes of the more important ones. just another feature for that car computer.

the nav space is kinda small...maybe fit two 52mm or 60mm gauges in there, assuming u dont remove the plastic backing.

even tho i dont like the obvious appearance of gauges on the a-pillar, its easier to see than turning yor head to look in the nav space...makes a difference when you're driving hard.

Does anyone make a Head-Up-Display gauge?

I'm thinking of a computer that would be stored in the NAV location, with a small projector that could be mounted on top of the dash and aimed at the location of your choice (such as low down on the windshield). You would then use the computer to select which gauge or gauges would be displayed. It would be stealthy, visible, and could be turned off if desired. Does anyone know of anything like that? If not, then is anyone interested in one? And if so, would you like to finance my new company devoted to making one? I'll let you be Chairman of the Board!

Thanks,
D'oh!

Coming from a GTP with HUD, I miss it. If there were a decent priced aftermarket version out there, I'd be there
