SES Light is on in 03
welp ive had my test pipes (helix tps) on for over a month now...now SES light...i reset my ECU when I installed the plenum spacer...no light...a week after that (last night) SES light came on...
While i was waiting for my girl I reset the ECU to clear the light...worked for about a second then light came back on...
Went to Auto Zone lol they read it and said...Bank 1 and some other jiberish (saying my converter was insufficient) so bank 1 being my driver side im wondering could it just be the O2 sensor? I havent got under there to see if there are any leaks. Would a leak cause that??? Could the car be running so lean that it would cause the O2 sensor to go out? or is that even possible???

Its the test pipes. OBDII allows a certian amount of error. So if a out of spec situation comes up it must record that instance multiple times, that way the SES is not coming on all the time. It came back on quickly becasue the memory was not actually cleared for SES codes and it was looking for the cat problem. It takes three misfires for the SES light to trigger.

I had this problem about twice already It normally happens when you step on it full (or at least it happened to me like that) Just try to get Non foulers i forgot what was the measurement but they say it fixes the problem. Then go to autozone use the OBDII scanner and earase it.
