Default BIG Power lost after mod

after a friend put in a stillen valve body i am getting little power when i push the gas pedal complete down. the rpm just rises slowly very slowly it seem as the computer is think that i am only press the gas pedal 3/4 inch. i was told that everthing was put in right. when he was putting in the transmission fluid some of it spilled out, could that be the problem. i also reuse the same fluids. should i resset the ecu.

i have a 05 35th anny auto with 850 miles

Dude...find a reputable mechanic and have it checked out. I hope your friend is not the reputable mechanic. Ask around the forums. People might know some good mechanics within your area.

trade your car in for a 6spd, that'll fix the issue you are having.

If that doesn't help, check this thread Seems he is having a similar issue.

Sounds like maybe you dont have enough tranny fluid in and its slipping some. You may wanna check that, and btw kick your friend right in the gooch for not knowing what hes doing.

He's just a kid. In high school it's all about acting like you know what to do.

if your lacking fluid or the vavle body is not sitting right you'll have fuild pressure problems. the car will not move.
auto trannys are IMO one of the most complicated components on a car what the hell are you thinking letting some friend experiment with a Z and reusing the same fuild is just stupid. I cant even understand how the thought was considered regardless of the age of the fluid

The Valve Body of the trans is NOT available seperately..

If it was damaged, time for a totally new trans...
