Default no power when i gunning it. HELP

after a friend put in a stillen valve body i am getting little power when i push the gas pedal complete down. the rpm just rises slowly very slowly. i was told that everthing was put in right. when he was putting in the transmission fluid some of it spilled out, could that be the problem. i also reuse the same fluids.

i have a 05 35th anny auto

I would say...if it was installed right . Check the fluid . And I hope you filtered the used fluid before putting it back in

If the torquing of the bolts is done improperly, fluid will leak out where the valve body seals against the trans housing.
