Errr, there was one tuner who had one that was supposed to be one of the fastest, one of the Japanese company cars but I can't remember who it was.

I think they brought the car over to the States and they did the test drive here in the destert. All I remember was that the car was oranage and at the end the driver lost control, flipped several times, and it was totaled. Driver was a-ok though

Anyone know what video im talking about? I don't think it was a Tanabe or Signal car but I could be wrong...

I believe that was the JUN Z. It had upwards of 800hp I believe. I love how the guy just got out and walked around after crashing at 180+mph.

There's one member on here that hit 183mph on GPS and his name is SPAZPILOT. I also believe he had TT kit too for FYI. Here's my post where he and some others posted their top speeds ~~~~> https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....ighlight=Flash

its probably not geared to go that high. unless you either raise the rev limit, change the tires, or the rear end/tranny gears you wont be able to get that high.

yeah, with correct gearing you probally only need ~500rwhp as long as you have a good power band to make up for the RPM drops in the 4-5 5-6 shifts...

The power is definately there for many of us, but the gearing is not if you are running the standard 6MT at the standard rev limit of 6600rpm. With 3.3 gears, and a rev limit increase, it should be doable....but scarey as hell.

now that i have my oil cooler, 3.3 rear end, and my intake manifold to make power at higher RPM giving me reason to raise my rev limiter...

stay tuned around may/june i will be posting a video... its been my plan for a while.

The orange car everyone is talking about... that flipped at over 180mph (do to a blown front left tire) was OPTION AUTO's Z... it was tuned by JUN... and was the first with the Ings Stream Z kit...

Default Orange 350... destroyed during 180mph tire blow out

THe car that everyone is talking about... that flipped at over 180mph (do to a front left tire blowout) was developed by OPTION AUTO... their tuning company was JUN... the car had a fully built VQ... you can read a backdated issue of SUPER STREET... which explains the entire buildup of the car

sorry about the repost

Didn't the crawford guys go 199mph on the dyno? I know that's different than real world, no wind resistance. I think the car only had a couple mods.
