dyno numbers aside..........the gain from start to finish is impressive. i cannot wait to see the numbers on wednesday and if it all holds true...........alberto, you might have people wanting to meet you just for the "free kick in the nuts"....hahahahahaha if i ever meet you, i will take off my shoes and give you a soft kick with socks only, i would hate to make a bad first impression as you nuts might already be sore

keep up the good work, i didn't think 300whp was out of the question and i cant wait to see many z's putting down these numbers!!!!

SUBSCRIBED and waiting for wed.

Dont mean to be a d!ck and other people have already said it, but that engine is not produceing an accurate 314rwhp. I would say on a dynojet you will put down 285-290 max. If I recall correctly there was a member that went to Sharif's shop in a stock 35th aniv. and put down over 270rwhp. Now either their dyno is not making a right correction factor or Nissan just decided to give that guy a 325hp engine. Best of luck to you tho.

subscribed. as another point of reference do you have the baseline on this dyno? i read earlier in the thread you had a 25x whp dyno with boltons but no headers. however it would help to see just what you started with.

Yes but if the dynojet correction was incorrect to begin with it would throw the numbers off by a percentage, which would grow to be a greater difference as the HP# grew..As it 10% of 300 is more than 10% of 100 just for illistrative purposes. Only Wed will tell what a true Dynojet # would be..

I think Kurt posted the results in another thread, but the the PE car at 8.5psi made 420whp..IIRC..on a dynojet...and the Procharger car made about 380whp at 8psi.

thwack or what ever it is, from day one u have been dumpin on anybody that dynos NA higher than u, even the first time I got mine at 272 you had something to say. Its not cp's fault or sharif fault or the dynos fault, I have a strong motor. And anyway its a number who really gives a F**K anyway, a number is a number. I only posted it because I wanted to let everyone know that 300 is possiable without breaking the motor open, and yes we have done that. And sponsers attacking sponsers is retarded, we are a group of men and women on here and there is no reason to attack the way some people have over a number espically ones that are getting this exact dyno that they are bashing. I am not saying that the #'s are right or wrong but I am saying that is HP the dyno said and there is NO WAY cp or sharif fondled those numbers to benifit them. I am going to get it dynoed on a dynojet and we will see what happens, which I am sure if I hit 300 everyone will say there is a problem with that dyno and if I dont everyone will say cp or sharif is wrong.

My guess would be between 295-300. Still very nice for N/A. I saw a vortech G35 that dynoed 388 @ CPRace and then 363 on the local dynojet 2 or 3 days later.

LikeI said, No one was attacking anyone, just questioning the corrections used. After all you are taking a dyno dynamics dyno which reads lower than Dynojet and correcting it using a mathematical equasion to show Dyno Jet numbers, so there is room for error or manipulation. If the BIG HP # to show everyone was not relavant then why not just post the TRUE Dyno Dynamics readings? If you put down 280whp DD non corrected, that would be impressive..
Like I said, if your car puts down 315whp + or- 7hp, send me the bill for the dyno run, I will pay it in full...so 308-322 is your number..
Keep in mind this topic is for the good of the 350Z community to prove how strong the VQ is and its tuning potential, so lets keep it scientifical and after your Dyno Jet numbers there wil be no dispute as to the correction factor used on your dyno..Very simple...

Is everyone that is disputing the dyno numbers going to be happy with the dyno you are using on Wed.? Why dont those of you questioning his numbers agree upon a dyno testing procedure and method of SAE corrections prior to pulling the dyno?

Everytime we do testing of products at Sport Z magazine, we have all parties come to an agreement on dyno testing procedures prior to the day of testing so everyone is happy and feels it represents an accurate test.

I think that it would be wise for all of you to agree upon this prior to the test and have a 3rd party show up to make sure the procedure is followed. If not, I fear the 2nd test will prove nothing to those that feel the numbers are inaccurate.

Good luck,

Jeff Wisener, Zland

LOL. Chill out buddy I am not trying to bust your nuts or anything, we are all here to learn. I commented on your numbers...if you dont want comments then keep them to yourself. I in no way think that cp or sharif folded the numbers, as I do believe they are really great tuners. I just think the dyno is alittle off on the dynojet correction factor.

I would just ask for SAE corrected numbers, smoothing of say 3 cuz its the middle. Id be happy with that. Oh, and of course 5th gear...whether he wants to let it cool down or keep it warm is up to him.
