Default unichip good or fake??

I have read many threads of how they only got 5 hp from this and spent at least 900 dollars for the unit and tunning. Is it worth it compared to technosquare which is only 200 dollars less?

Does anyone know if teachnosquare can reflash the ecu the same day you bring them your ecu if you are local?

if you're in north cal, Scoot Performance guarranty if you don't get at least 10-20HP gain, you don't have to pay for it. They will have before-after dyno with the chip.

Don't waste your money on a reflash and don't get a Unichip. If you get a Unichip you need to go to a Unichip dealer to get it tuned. Get a TurboXS UTEC. It's the best parallel engine managment around, and anyone can tune it.

I'm in Fresno, CA so san jose isnt too far away to get the unichip. I just heard stories of how ppl only got at most 5hp from the unichip and that is just not worth spending 900 dollars on when a reflash will get the same gains. If Ted can promise me at least 10 gains over the unichip than I believe it's worth it. anyone have proof that it works and is the gain to the wheel or the crank?

Well, I called Ted and he says he can get a minimal of 15hp to the wheel after tunning the unichip, anyone think this is possible?

he will have before and after dyno for you. However, are you done with all of your mod? once you put this on and later you add more mod, you will need to tune it up again.

I got the Unichip mainly so we could adjust the fuel/air ratio. I didn't want the thing running to lean, which it was at the higher rpm's. The added power was just a bonus! I can't remmember exactly but I was thinking about 12-15 rwhp.
