I've redone pretty much all my mods since my last dyno I got at GRD in the beginning of May. I think that I've gained a good amount of power, anyone care to guess how much before I get a retune in the next few weeks? Heres the list of mods I had installed for my last dyno -
2004 G35 AT
-Z-tube w/ KN filter
-Crawford V1 Plenum
-UR Crank Pulley
-Topspeed Headers
-Crawford Hi-Flow Cats
-Pro-1 y-pipe
-Tanabe Super Hyper Exhaust
-Unichip
Dyno - 263whp/253 ft. lbs. - SAE corrected
New Mod Lineup
-HKS Racing Suction Intake
-Motordyne 1/2 plenum spacer w/ Iso-thermal upgrade
-UR Crank Pulley
-Topspeed Headers
-Amuse R1000 TI Front pipe (deletes the cats, test pipes and y-pipe in one unit)
-Amuse R1 TI Titan Exhaust
-HKS DLI II Ignition
-Unichip
Dyno - ???
I'm guessing that I'll be somewhere around 280-285-whp, what do you guys think?

If you reach 280 that would be awesome man. Your exhaust setup will flow much better, the new ignition, intake mods should also make an improvement. Spend more time with that Unichip on the dyno and i would think you could reach real close to 280 range.
Beyond the exhaust(getting rid of the cats), I don't see much that would warrant much of an increase in power.
I will say you will be within 5 -10 hp of your last runs. I would think the gearing of the 3.5 final might be a bigger contributer to any gains you might see

well man, the stuff you are adding will make your car lighter but as far as horsepower, i really dont see much of an improvement with the new mods, good luck though and keep us posted...
so you are going to run a plenum spacer and the crawford plenum>>>???

Well, according to the plenum shootout done by Z mag the 1/2" spacer beat the Crawford by a few horses. I also know that this exhaust flows better than my last setup due to better design and no cats. The DLI added power I could feel. All these things put together gave me something, we'll have to wait and see. BTW, I'm looking at the dyno chart right now and my first post was a tad off, it was 262.3 whp/250.7 ft.lbs. This dyno was done on a Dynapack.

From my understanding, GRD has their Dynapack setup to mimic a Dynojet. They feel the Dynopack is more consistent, hence making it a better tuning tool. Zivman, or any GRD customer care to chime in on this?

Dynapack, they also say the Dynapack gives inflated numbers, that depends on the shop. Most reputable shops will program the Dynapack to be setup up like a Dynojet to solve this issue.

GRD's dyno isn't setup to read like anything other than itself. They don't inflate their numbers from what I know. I would agree a 263 dyno is slightly high, but not outragiously high. Every dyno is different and every car acts different on different dynos. From my experience, you are best rerunning/retuning on the same dyno, but even then consistency isn't always the greatest. you could easily see a 10 whp swing with the same car on the same dyno on a different day.
Don't get too wrapped up in dyno numbers, especially N/A. Nate, I have told you this before, for all the money and time you have spent chasing 20-30 whp gains, you could have easily thrown an turbo setup on your car and 120-130++++ whp gains.

BTW, when do you wanna hook up and hear this exhaust? I just put the front pipe on a couple of hours ago. I thought it would be loud and drone like crazy, and it doesn't. There is rasp, but its not loud and annoying like my other setups, it hard to explain, I LOVE it though.
