i had a similar situation with my rsx...only 2 qts of oil in the engine when i bought it. after discovering this i monitored the oil levels closely and needless to say, the car consumed too much oil so i took it in to the dealer. they did leak down tests etc, and documented over 2k of mileage before they finally replaced the shortblock. i would say your at least looking at an engine replacement and that really sucks. i traded the rsx in shortly after for my z...good luck with it man.
