with any major NA change to the vehicle, it's a good idea to get it tuned if you want the vehicle to be as safe as possible (to the engine at least) and at its most powerful

I am so waiting for the Brian Crower cams. Buts it funny if you do the yen to $ conversion on the tomei stuff the valve springs are like $330 or something. The cams are about $1100. Thats msrp, I can't wait to see what the american dealers charge.

keep in mind though that that is only the "substance price", and does not include the mandatory Japanese taxes, nor does it include shipping the cams to the US (about $130 for a set by the least expensive means). The standard currency conversion nets them out at around $1150.00 as of this mornings currency (134400 yen). By the time you add in the tax, the shipping and the fees that Japanese companies impose for payment (most don't take credit cards from their dealers and make you do a wire transfer), US pricing is right on target (we posted the link on the previous page as we've offered them for a month now). The firms there not only charge an inbound wire transfer fee (about $35.00 on average), but US banks charge an outbound fee ($50 in our case). By the time you add everything up, you'll see pricing is consistent.
