Default Need more power!

Well, so far I have an intake, headers, exhaust, and a plenum spacer but I want more power and I'm not going turbo for a year or so, so in the mean time what would you suggest me doing for some more power. Mod should be under $1,000, including installation if I can't do it myself.

first you should probably get rid of that 20inch wheel in the rear.. maybe even go 18s, if you want it to be a little quicker.

Move to a lower elevation. lol

You can throw a 75 shot on her until you go turbo. Kit = $450-600. Window/TPS switch = $150. Install = $250.

Yea, take off those rims first. Then I'm guessing you have a rev-up. Get rid of your skunk spacer and get mrev2 + 5/16 iso spacer. Those two things should make it a bit quicker.

I'm going to be getting a set of Axis 18"s already so the next power adder should be an MREV2?

1st: Why did you buy headers if you plan on turboing?
2nd: For more N/A power cheap, Test Pipes or High-Flow Cats. $200-450
3rd: UTEC & Tune: With all you N/A air mods I'm sure you're A/F is off. I think you could get an extra 15-25whp with the UTEC. Also buying the UTEC now you don't have to worry about an EMS when you turbo. $1000 if you search and find the deals. They are at there!
4th: You could use NOS but I'm not a fan of it. If you do go that route RESEARCH!!!!
5th: Reasearch what mods will help free up extra HP from the turbo kit you are interested in.

Thanks for all the replies, and I didn't buy the headers they came on the car, but I probably would have anyways because I'm waiting untill after highschool to go the turbo route, I may still go with a supercharger.

hahaha riiight
... actually S/C will be your safest FI , price and install wise....and works great with headers testpipes

for right now.. get test pipes.. and a A/F controller and dyno tune it....
if you can affort a lil more go with UTEC and dyno tune.... you will make out all your mods with the utec(or other) tunned
