rpm signal
ive searched and search and nothing. im installing nitrous and i need a rpm signal for the window switch. ppl have told me pin number so and so but they gave me 2 pins not sure which one it might be
so can somebody tell my where one might be also what colour it is, please... thanks
for '05:

I used pin #62 (Ign 1), Y/R (Yellow base w/ red stripe)
I picked the wire from the wiring bundle that goes through the bulkhead just behind the battery...I took off some of the plastic protection, tapped the wire, and retaped it.
hope that helps.

After reviewing the service manual, I don't believe the 350Z has a straight up RPM sensor wire.
It has to be determined by using crankshaft position sensor (pin 13), cam position sensor, or ignition signal (the guy in the post above used ignition signal).
At least this is the case with the EU...
hope this helps
