There is a magazine that drop the Nissan V8 into a 350Z. (Can't remember engine code.) Anyhow it ended up slower. Think it ran a 14.8 in the 1/4. I say don't do it.

I wouldn't do it. Many cheaper alternatives for more speed with less potential headaches.

4.5 Infiniti twin turbo v-8. It can be done, just takes some skill to pull off.

I think one problem you may have is that the Nissan V8 isn't as mod friendly as the domestic V8's. I think it would be tuff to build a 500hp Nissan V8 when you could just get a chevy small block and put a cam and heads and be close.

if you really desire a v8, sell it and get a used C5 Z06 for 26***-36***, spend 5k on heads and cams and you've got 440hp at the rear wheels. but we might confuse you for a redneck......

^ You might also forget your driving a "sports car" due to the numbness of the Corvette's design. How can they make a car that performs so well so boring.
