just so you know i got most of my mods used!!! thats where i saved alot of money$$$
It hurts me to say that i could have gone FI but i chose not to cause i need this car to be reliable as possible since its my only means of transportation.
Overall im very happy with the way my car performs, i gained over 30+whp & 20+tq.
You must have dyno'd on the weakside stock. What do you run now with all those mods?

i dyno'd 232whp & 2 something low tq stock..lol...cant remember the tq. i dyno'd 266whp & 242 tq but those number where after 2 very hot hours on the dyno, tunning. im sure my numbers are a bit higher than that, plus i just recently added a sun automobile hyperforce system which has been proven to add a little hp & tq. Im pretty sure im over the 270whp mark & 250 tq. got to dyno it again now!!!

Yeh, I agree with your. All I am saying is if you only want to boost your hp by 35whp you can eaisly do that with a simple fogger nos kit. Run you well under 1K to do a great setup. That and a good driver will net you low 13's/high 12's as it will have more HP then a bolt on car likes yours (but the tq curve will be very different). It's not my thing either but I thought I would mention it if all someone wants is low 13's to play with every once in a while. Shoot you wouldn't even need a intake or exhaust. Just the NOS, driver, and tires would do it from looking at what people are running with basic bolt ons. I am new to this 350Z thing but not nos or tuning Nissans to run NA.

Agreed you can run a 75 -100 shot reasonably safe with colder plugs and a better tire combo you would net high 12s with a decent driver and an all stock car.

I personally think that nitrous should be include under the FI title. I hate it when people say they are NA, and they are running a shot of nitrous.

What kind of tires did you have?

For those that want to see it, NA runs. Notice/listen the first run I come off at idle and still run 13.5 @ 106mph...

First run was bald stock sized tires, hence the easy launch. Second and 3rd runs were on ET streets.

*Keep in mind my total cost is including slicks/drag wheels, you could have the same power for less ($450 to be exact) if your not into dragging. My NA set-up kicked A$$

Even if its $20, go every Friday for 1 month it will be the best investment in "proving" you rmods are doing something...

Injen exhaust - $750
UR crank pulley - $210
Technosuare ECU - $600
Slicks/drag wheels - $450

My total = $ 2760. If you copied this exact it would now cost you $2660 because the plenums are now cast not welded like they used to be. I gained 23whp over my stock dyno and my car ran very strong NA. If you need more than that to run low 13's or 12's your doing something really wrong.

Ending power--> 262whp, 252ft/lbs Dynojet, 5th gear, SAE corrected.
Alberto, have you had any problems with your UR crank pulley, I am wondering if i should get one when I have my car tuned later this year? I have read a few people say that they make the engine not balance and because of this it shorten the life of the engine, is this true?

Matt

Is the transmission issue really that much of a problem in the low 400 whp range?

I wouldn't think so. Anybody else have opinions on what brands are the best for a NA setup?
