Default Here is the revup dyno sheet with cams.

First thing the dyno wasnt loaded so its reading way lower than normal. With it loaded it should be around 230-240whp. I trust the guy since he has been doing this for years. This is on 86 octane, megan headers, my custom test pipes, PIT Exhaust, homemade shortram intake. 11.9 a/f ratio with 86 octane, notice how the power the just plumets, its because of how rich it is. We are going to tune it to around 13.3 - 13.4.

The numbers arent as important as the power curve right now to me. It seems tuned these cams will make power past 7000 rpms.

Maybe its where I'm from but I've never seen 86 octane gas, only 87, 89, 91. Sorry for the useless post

The numbers are terrible. Is there some reason that you are running 87 gas? What is the deal?

the numbers are not that terrible on mustang dyno. especially since it should have read 230-240whp. 9.1:1 compression ratio means lower octane gas can be used without damage and the dyno proves that too. cheap gas as well.

Yup terrible numbers on a UNLOADED dyno, wich will read lower than normal and even lower than a dyno dynamics...

You won't dyno anything impressive if you have a 9:1 cr pistons and you're still n/a. It makes no sense to dyno at all. Sorry for being so blunt but if you're n/a you need to be at least stock compression or higher to yield any gain.

You have low cr pistons so slap on a tt kit and then get numbers out.

Yes it would make a little more power at 10.3 but i just want to show people what the cams can make, thats the point, so i will dyno it NA before i turbo it. It will make more power than stock, or just pure bolt ons alone.

Dont make excuses for the numbers. Mustang dyno's can be manipulated to read high, yours isnt-a stock Z will not dyno 230-240whp on an unmanipulated MD. You proved everyone's point by saying your low comp bottom end with cams, bolt-ons is more powerful than a stock block Z, this proves your power is at stock levels at best. I really hope you finish the turbo kit soon as your numbers blow-I wouldnt have even posted them.

Ok Mr Alberto the dyno isnt loaded the car isnt tuned ( So it produced what a stock Z would with an unloaded dyno, i dont think thats to bad ). Why dont you call the number on it and ask them if they could load thier dyno on saturday. Your just a 23 yr old kid with money, what do you know anyway. Gruppe S only gets 210-220whp out of a stock Z on a mustang dyno.

If Im seeing it right 210whp ? Thats not bad at all considering the low compression . The cams and revup brought it back up to stock levels .
If a Mustang dyno isnt loaded ...meaning its in a simulation mode . Doesnt it read higher . Because there is less load on it ? That has always been the case when I dyno and tune on a Mustang dyno . When tuning and in the simulation mode I get higher numbers than when we do it in the power curve mode [ loaded ]

Are you suggesting that a 23 yr old with money can't be more intelligent than yourself? If so, then your opinions are just as worthless as your unloaded, untuned dyno sheet.

booger he told me it would read alot lower than normal. I just really wanted to see were the cams would make power at, and check the a/f ratio. These guys build 1000whp cars that are daily driven they know what they are doing. They think there is about 20-30whp left in it with tuning. After we road tune im going back to the dyno in a week or two, then ill have actuall numbers on it. It should make power all the way too 7000rpms with no problem. It drops off because of the 11.9 afr.
