Default I keep hearing all these oil consumption problems

What year were the models affects? How bad was the consumption, like every 1-2 thousand miles?

I have an 06 and I did counsume oil before my 1st oil change to the tune of 1qt. I had them take a look at it and change the oil to 10w40 and it has not consumed any oil yet since then, don't jump to conclusions yet.

I have no consumption in the first 2500 miles maybe a little more. Need to check the mileage again.

I'm only using about 1/2 quart every 1,000 miles now. I wish it was twice as good as that but it's about twice as good as it was.

I can live with it.

Where's my wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeels

Most of the cases are the cars with Revup engines.
