it is being built with forged everything....i am patient because it was my decision to go for the newest motor....my decision led to the delays...why would I get impatient when it's my fault...hinson has been using an LS1 for mock up, construction and routing of the cooling system and i thank him for that....once my monster motor is done it will be a simple swap, some tuning and then off to the body shop for the new kit!

Are you worried that the front will be too heavy because of the weight of the cast iron block?

It actually doesn't weigh a whole lot more than the VQ. The weights are posted in here somewhere.

car will be 100% complete w/in 3-4 weeks....i then to need to find a body kit, paint etc for SEMA.....

My Fully built cast iron LSX 454 will weigh 30 pounds less than my Twin Turbo VQ....and honestly on the street 30 lbs is not that big of a difference....

BTW will you be doing any engine dynos of it before installation?

N/A with juice so I can relearn the car and enjoy it. I honestly wouldn't have fun stepping behind teh wheel of 1600 hp after not driving the Z for 5 months. I would just wind up having too much power and hence not get to test the limits of the car. After Nov (SEMA) back to the lab!

Well as it stands now....thanks to the people over at procharger I will be ditching the NOS and going well over 1000rwhp with a nice shiny blower!

Now i seriously need engine parts so i can whoop me some lambos!!!

Sweet I can't wait to see what that car is gonna do. Things have changed and I won't be getting a Z now but I am gonna go as planned and drop the LSX in something.
