Cropped from the 2007 owners manual, GL-4 for MTL, and GL-5 80w-90 for the diff.

Shell Rotella, I'm undecided on, and Pennzoil I'm gonna give the thumsdown to.

Mobil 1 conventional looks good, but have heard issues - Castrol GTX is allright, thats my other real option.

What is the factory fill oil?

I will switch eventually to a synthetic (probably a blend after the first couple changes either way). But I'm doing a 1,200 mile flush and a 3,750 change (dealer covered), so I figure those should at least be on the same oil (so I can actually get it analyzed.


edit - and this ruined my day, time to not drive my car the same (only has 120 miles or so, thankfully):

Owners Manual break-in procedure.
 Avoid driving for long periods at constant
speed, either fast or slow. Do not run the
engine over 4,000 rpm.
 Do not accelerate at full throttle in any gear.
 Avoid quick starts.
 Avoid hard braking as much as possible.
 Do not tow a trailer for the first 500 miles
(800 km).

thank you all for the advice and different opinions, i have no idea what to choose now haha. I did notice the other threads after posting this one... im gonna try to see if i can do a poll on this so we get more accurate results..
