Wink My stock rod compaired to Eagle pix

even have my old bent all to hell rod in there with a stock rod and the new eagle rod... what a difference!!!! Pix speak for themselves!!!

From left to right (stocker bent...stocker...eagle)

From top to bottom....(stocker bent sheesh...stocker...eagle)

From top to bottom.... Eagle....stocker

A lot of debate about the quality of these rods so im just adding fuel to the fire. These rods look so much beefier compared to stock. and my stock held 500 hp before bending all up haha. these should hold well over what i want them too! we shall see soon enough.

im debating on what to get in rods since my goal is 700 rwhp but they say that eagles only hold maxed 550 to 600 rwhp and the difference in price is about 400.

700+ id say go with something other than Eagle. Although Ive never seen anyone with eagle rods take it to the extreme. Would be interesting if someone did. Knowing me ill try it just like with the stockers but i hate the result when they fail haha

Its funny how domestics use eagle rods for over 1000hp at the wheels but yet they arent any good in an import engine? People make me laugh.

it is known that the reason they are cheap is because the are mass produced... but hey 600hp is just fine with me haha

Feeling or looking "beefy" does not always mean capable of more loads...it comes down to the quality of the metal alloy, type of metal alloy used, manufacturing method, and quality control of the manufacturing. The best way to be sure of what you are putting in your car is to contact the manufacturer themselves and then talk with other reputable shops/people to back-up/refute the claims.

V8 = 25% less HP/cylinder. Not to mention that V8's typically don't have to rev as high as smaller displacement motors to make their power which means they're being stressed even less.
