You cant really compare the K20 to the VQ, which has already been said.
I used to build all motor Honda's, making like 215whp out of 1.8ltrs, roughly making 120whp per liter. Id really like to see this out of the VQ, but again, this is unchartered territories for the 350z owners, of coarse daily driven. I think in the near future, when more people start experimenting you will see daily driven VQs above 300whp, working most of the turbo 350s at the track.
Props to Audible, for being innovative and being the guinea pig. I respect that, and in the future, I will probably do business with you, being you know this motor so well.

NA grand-am cup series spec motors mustang dyno around 375whp...
This is very impressive that jeremy was able to produce such a stout motor with so much room for improvement...
ie. Cosworth plenum, better cams, more tuning.
The fact of the matter is jeremy isnt a multi national corp. sponsoring a race car, he's one guy making a difference.
As for the k series making 318. those numbers came from a sleeved stroked 2.7 liter ERL block motor with almost 10K into it hardly a cheap way to go, it was dry sumped and revved to 9000rpm not to mention they were dynojet #s not taking into effect the sae correction. this is a race breed motor and the facts arent 100% straight. Also the Kseries was ITBs and similar compression to jeremy on race gas. THe tq wasnt actually that bad considering it was being installed in an race prepped rsx.

Umm let me find some pictures of this VQ. There was a guy who worked for a race team and he had a 3.0 VQ making 400+ horsepower N/A at 9000 rpm. He switched to a 3.5 about a year ago but I have not kept in contact with him.
Edit: can't seem to find them. Anyone know what Im talking about? Rear mounted VQ30DE in a tube chasis car with Individual throttle bodies. And Im pretty sure Nismo was selling 450 hp crate engines for awhile.

Well the IES guys have several VQ's making that much power and they have it for braced for a custom mid-engine option as well. Maybe it was one of their engines you saw that a guy bought. Nismo was selling their 450hp (unrestricted) VQ35 engines for a while as well.

I thought someone was already grinding away some cams for you. Your patience will also help us all understand what an N/A Z is really capable of. You have a really good setup so far, you've got to keep it going! Hopefully crower can put something together for you!
