Default Need a Recipe for 400hp

just got my car a few months ago and have been looking at old post on adding HP. Ofcourse a turbo kit would be great but I'm not able to drop 5000.00 all at once right at this moment so I'm lookin to buy and bolt-on one or two items at a time.

What have all of you guys been successful with and what combinations work the best for your cars?

To date only mods have been CAI and fuel line upgrade (The dealership recal).
New Transmission replaced by the dealership (For Free )

Any help would be great. Thanks folks

Only way to get 400hp is by either SC or turbo. The SC will have it with less tq. I suggest you look into Stillen, Vortech SC'ers or Turbonetics single turbo kit as ideas on how to reach 400hp as inexpensively as possible.

Maybe the best way for you to get it is by nitrious. It is much cheaper that FI.

If these ideas do not appeal to you, you simply better sell the Z & get something else that already has the hp or easy to mod it to get it. Honestly, it is not realistic to expect 400hp from the 350Z unless you put out some bucks. Forget bolt on N/A mods, you will not come close to 400hp.

no prob, just askin if its been done. Been driven and building domestics for a while and adding an extra 100-150hp can be gained w/o FI or NOS, jus seein if it could be done on the Z or not.

Heat oil to 300 degrees. Batter chicken in flour, deep fry for 5 minutes. Serve with 40oz of Old English in brown bag. Enjoy.
