Default its that Time

my clutch is almost done for it, and tomorow i was thinking of going into nissan and asking them to check it out.. i have the nissan warenty and the extended one,....just got the Z last year so there shouldnt be a problem for them to do it for free... my car has 22k miles, the z was my first car i learned how to drive stick on it, i dont race it thats not why my clutch is screwd up its just from learning driving and sometimes driving it hard...

any advice what i should say tomorow when i walk in nissan so it dont seem like i just want to come in and get it replaced asap cause i screwd it up i dont want them to give me BS so they try to say i did it from racing or something? i just want them to do their job with no problems

Good luck. From the Warranty manual that comes with our cars:

MAINTENANCE SERVICE EXPENSE
This warranty does not cover normal maintenance services
as specified in your NISSAN SERVICE & MAINTENANCE
GUIDE such as engine tune-up; cleaning and polishing;
wheel alignment; headlight aiming; replacement of filters,
replacement of windshield wiper inserts, lubricants, coolant;
worn brake shoes, pads, drums and rotors and worn clutch
discs
.

Are you have trouble with the transmission (grinding) or the clutch?

If your clutch fails prematurely, then yes, it would be covered. If it shows signs of excessive wear or abuse, then you'll get the same response that dozens of others here have gotten in the past - "wear and tear" items are not covered.

+1 on wear and tear not being covered. You can always try but theres no gurantee.

extended just means it is longer but it doesn't mean it covers more.

If its defective then they will replace it free. If its worn out because you have been riding the clutch then its going to cost you some money

Only way to know is to take it in and see what they say.

If they see even one burn mark on your clutch, they wont cover it under warranty and the labor will be billed to you.

Most dealerships will dismiss the problem as "wear and tear" right off the bat before doing any work to your car.

By the way, the grinding issue almost sounds like its a tranny problem. A slipping clutch will have different symtoms like hesitant engagement even after your foot is off the pedal or your engine will rev but the car wont accelerate (especially in high gear)
