How do you check...

if you mean, checking with a dipstick, you can't for either. You'll only go low if you have a leak, as the oil will not be consumed by any other means.
To know the proper fill height, you must place your car on a flat, level surface. On each the transmission and diff, there is a 10mm open face hex nut for the drain (bottom) and fill (upper side). You use a suction gun to fill fluid in the top fill hole, and you stop when fluid starts to dribble out of the hole. Very advanced !
Oh, the transmission takes approximately 4 quarts, and the diff takes 2

Most lube places ( I said lube, lol) will change your fluid for $20 + you bring the fluid! There is no way to check the fluid!

I guess the only way to check would be to open up the fill cap and look in with a flashlight. It's in an awkward spot though, so I hope you have access to one of those endoscopy cameras they stick down your throat

thats weird, I am reading page 13 of the 2007 service and maintenance guide and it says the inspect the following
All lights,brake fluid level,clutch fluid,Differential fluid,air filter,transmission fluid...
Why would they tell you to inspect it at 3750 miles if you cant ?

Really, at that mileage interval, you're not going to be looking to change any of the fluids. I assume this maintenance call is just to verify no leaks, and that the fluids visually look clean. In my opinion, I would just inspect the outside of the transmission and diff case, to see if there is any oily residue. Look especially at gaskets, where separate parts mate, and at the drain and fill plugs.
Don't sweat it too much though...your fluid won't need to be changed for another 25,000 plus miles

There is no need to inspect the fluid.
I'll tell you what you will find...
your transmission fluid will look normal and basically pinkish in color, with good clarity unless you have 50k+ miles on your car.
Your differential fluid will look black like sludge and it will smell like A$$.
I recommend changing these fluids for synthetic and then don't worry about them for at least 60k miles.

because the service guide is there to tell you what will be inspected when you take the car in to service.

You could always just stick your finger in the hole (that sounded kinda bad LOL)... If you get slippery stuff on your finger (oil), you're okay level-wise. Wow, that really sounded bad~ Lol! :-)
