My brother bought it for me back in 02 as a graduation gift. My girlfriend didn't have a car so i gave her the Z to drive. I already had the camaro and I bought the Z06 as salvage car and built it.

 

then buy another camaro or another vette , they get great gas mileage in stock form.....

So those cars didn't have enough ***** for you either so you had to procharge them? The new 07 Z in stock form, can roll against an 01 camaro ss now pretty damn even or even beat it. Unless by "*****" you mean torque, which makes some of those cars feel faster then they really are.

With the money you've spent on those cars I can't see how gas money could hurt you that bad, why didn't you just buy a beater civic for gas mileage? That would have been more cost effective.

Buy a Noble M400, and your done, you can get one for around 90G's used with 400 miles, ask me and i'll get you the guys number, otherwise you can get them for about 100g's. You get what you pay for.

 

I'm saving and waiting for the new camaro, much like the rest of U.S. public. Not a fan of the new vettes, but i like the C5's better: but the C6 Z06 is nice.

 

amazing you would compare Forced Induction V8's with an N/A V6 .. i am guessing you are not too bright

Save up more, for what your saying that new camaro is again sub par performance. If you want the power, save up and get something built to do the job. Don't waste your money since that new camaro is still gonna get spanked by your original procharged cars, it isn't going to be any faster at all.

 

boys will be boys right. We have to procharge them, we have to twin turbo our cars, we gotta put on the most unreal sh*t, because we are programed this way. Thats why we are on this damn site.

 

If I had so much hate against my Z, it would be a quick stop at a dealer for a trade. Nobody should hate their engine this much and continue to keep the car. So, cowboy up and trade it in.

hey skeet sounds like your best bet is to sell the Z and pick up anothe c5 or C5 z06, or buy a civic and wait till the new camaro comes out....

if you can't afford gas on a Procharged V8 .. its obvious you are too broke to afford a F/I Z ... hey man.. when i get gas for my Jeep... i put in my credit card.. fill up and walk away.. i don't even look at the price anymore.
