32k miles, 15k boosted, no problems

 

Just hit 81k on stock original trans and clutch. Clutch will still grab third gear!! Although the throw out bearing is loud as ****. lol.

 

97,XXX on 4th Tranny... But love the Car... My 07 6MT 2800 Runs Great

 

73,000 3 gear grind babaaaay!

 

2003 with 53,000 miles, 3rd gear was grinding, just came back from the dealer with a new tranny.

 

Hit about 38,000 miles on my 2003 and massive grinding 3rd and 5th gear and they will not cover it since it's a couple of months out of warranty.

 

Isn't the warranty 5 yrs / 60,000 miles (Powertrain) ?

 

58k and no problems yet, put a nismo clutch/flywheel/pp in there. gears are notchy, but no grinding.

 

figured i'd chime in and say on my 2002* wrx I had 116k miles on it on the stock transmission.


gears seemed fine though a few syncro's grinded

 

77k still on the first tranny....5th and 6th grind in it.

I've been there. Leave it at Nissan overnight and have them drive it in the morning. My tranny did the EXACT same thing. It only did it when it was cold then i disappeared after a couple blocks. Eventually it stopped doing it altogether for like a month and I thought I was homefree. It came back 100X worse and would not go away at all. My warranty ends in a month. I cannot imagine how it would have felt to get the shaft on that one.

 

2003, 34k miles, shifts pretty smooth..not sure if my warranty is still active

Had a new tranny, clutch and flywheel put in my 03 at 54,000. Runs perfect now

 

Dang..3rd gear is becoming stickier every day. Thank god for extended warranty...

 

49k - original tranny - 6sp/manual - no issues... 1st is hard to get out of when cold, but that's only when it's below freezing and not warmed up.

 

2003 touring 31K. i just had a new tranny and clutch installed under warranty

 

65k still on first tranny, and no sign of grinding. knock on wood.

 

30K on NA, 14K on boost. 44,000K total. Just built my engine with twin turbo setup... Still with the original tranny.

 

03 6mt Slight grind going into second when it is cold out. For the guys that have replaced their tranny out of warranty what kind of prices can be expected. I am keeping my fingers crossed it doesn't happen but would like to know a good ball park area.
