I have a 2003 Performance Model, and put in a new transmission at 30K. My problem was grinding going into 5th gear. The car now has 34K (4K on the new transmission). I love the new transmission. It shifts more smoothly and isn't "notchy." The new transmission does make a whine noise when running up the RPM's, but I actually like the sound.

Wow, and to think I actually felt bad about passing 100,000 km (60K miles) - some of you guys are way up there!

I'm original tranny and clutch at 60K - and that includes close to 200 Solo2 launches/runs almost 1/2 of them with sticky R compounds.

45,000~ miles on the car, 14k of which were hard driving at 380-400whp. I'm on my third clutch/flywheel and a fully built motor now.

I have experienced 3rd and 5th grinding but only if the car is cold. It seemed to get better after I removed the garbage RP tranny fluid. Once the car is warmed up in never grinds.

54K Miles first tranny and original clutch/flywheel. No grinding issues, Occasionally the car has a problem letting go of first gear when cold, but other than that runs like when i bought it.
