Sharif, what kind of speed are you reaching at the 1.25 miles mark ? I ask because i remember seeing some 720bhp (crank) GTR's in england running 1.25miles with a top speed of 175mph+. Good runs by the way Hope you break the 200mph mark!

Brent let me pilot the car for the 3rd attempt, and this time, we started back and additional 1/4 mile, to give us a little more acceleration room. Trap was 182mph, and I could tell me simply hit a brick wall at 6500-6600rpm, and the car was just barely accelerating any further...if at all.
So looks like 183mph is the max for today. The wind has really started kicking up, and the car was slightly drifting to the left of the racing lane. We are calling it quits. Now Brent can start the 2nd day of his 5 day ralley. I am sure with more boost, and an early morning run, there is more to be had.

I know he has more than enough power even at 14psi to get to 200mph. Did you guys consider taking off the rear wing or adjusting it? 3900+lbs now with a cage is a TON of weight, even then M6's can hit 190mph legit weighing 3900lbs with 500 crank hp, the downforce must be too high in BRents set-up

Power to weight for the 200mph point is probably what killed him... More boost / power sounds like it would've hit the 200+ mark, but the nasty fuel issue comes into play then. In any case, 183mph in a show car / vert is INSANE. This has to be one for the books.
Congrats to Brent, Sharif, and everyone involved.
Great job guys
