+1
Check this out 206mph I dunno if its legit or not.

The surface @ Bonneville is something unique if you've never been there. It's not consistent at all... there are numerous factors that are present running out there vs running on a paved road.
good luck.
good luck.

LOL at Romey....yeah, I stole your "live update" idea.
Well, the day is over. We are really pleased with the performance overall, and nothing broke, which is always a good thing. Then engine and tune were spot on, and no adjustments were made to anything. We ran with 30psi cold tire pressure and a fresh set of Michelin PS2's Driving, or even standing on the salt flats in Utah, is a unique, and probably once in a lifetime opportunity. It truly is a surreal experience, almost like standing on the surface of the moon or something.
To push a 4000lb car through the air with just 14psi, was just too much resistance to achieve 200mph. We also had zero opportunity to dial in the aero, and we probably had a little too much. The only way to get to 200mph in THIS car is with a lot more power, and working on the optimum amount of aero. I have no doubt that a 3300lb'ish Z would have trapped significantly higher. Bert, where were you man???
But as Tenghai mentioned, Brent has a beautiful show car, with full interior, and lots of electronic gizmos, so he has a car that looks great, and goes fast.
And IIRC, we were exactly 20mph faster than anything else out there.
It will be Wed before i have the vids up, becuase I can't download them until I get to the office. You seriously guys....NEED to see this vid. Everyone said the car sounded like the devil....I was shaking when Brent passed us at terminal velocity.
