Default Fuel grade

I have noticed in Edmunds.com and in other sites that suggest the 2007 350Z runs on regular gas. That's contrary to everything I had previously read before. Are these sites making a mistake or is there new information on this subject.

I just took delivery of a 2007 Touring last week and the dealer stressed that 91 or higher octane is needed to make the engine run right.

Folks, I read the manual, and I looked at the top 100 questions. But I did not find any explanations as to the reason why Edmunds and others are saying the 2007 350Z uses regular gas, I wrote to Edmunds asking where they are getting their info from but have not gotten a reply, if I do I will post it. Anyway thanks for the refferences.

Because they're wrong. Who are you going to believe, the manufacturer of the vehicle or some internet site like Edmunds?

it'll run on the cheap stuff but your knock sensor will be working overtime chopping timing out,the car will be down on power and i would think you would like to be going in the other direction!you also get better mileage with good gas so price is offset slightly.
