Default How come no one has the JWT clutch/Nismo flywheel combo?

I did a search and was not able to find a single person with this setup. It might not be the lightest setup, but I would think theoretically it should be great for a slight upgrade from stock.

I actually don't mind the heavy stock flywheel, as I can go through stop signs while staying in 2nd gear, even going uphill (due to inertia of flywheel). The Nismo flywheel is a compromise between the lighter JWT (14lbs) and stock (30lbs+?), and being about half the price of the OEM flywheel it's a no brainer.

So what gives?

because the JWT flywheel is less expensive and weighs less. Plus it is the perfect match for the JWT clutch.

I live in SEATTLE. I go up 70 degree hills with the JWT flywheel.

I have no problems with starting off in 2nd gear or going up hills either.

Well the price difference is negligible, and the lesser weight is a catch 22. Less unsprung mass you get to rev faster, but the revs drop equally as fast.

From a 1-2 mph roll w/o burning the clutch?

Just a technical note, that's rotational mass.

I have the JWT Clutch/Flywheel Combo. car feels much lighter and rev matching is much much easier and smoother although gear engagement is a bit rough at times. Great Combo.

my revs dont drop fast and I have had my clutch/flywheel combo for over 40K miles so far and haven't burnt the clutch yet. 20K of those miles have been forced induction pushing over 400whp.
