But believe me when I say........EVERYTHING LINED UP PERFECTLY!
did you weld each pipe segment, or did you just use the clamps?

Good question.

Just the clamps! Just one more reason I went with BORLA! My installer just loves their systems and has reccommended Borla for years. The clamps are very precise and perfectly sized to prevent leakage so what you get is a precise, well built, easily installed exhaust!

Ummm... yeah. So you know I'll be stopping by tomorrow on the way home from work, right? 7 P.M.

My skinny-*** butt dyno is a finely tuned machine and I'll be able to verify any gains.

Actually no, I didn't. But put it this way. When I dyno and the numbers equal 20+hp over the what appears to be average 246-251, I'll be a happy man!

I'm torn between the Borla and Injen exhausts. I think the Injen looks a lot nicer because of the finish, and doesn't have all the clamps. But judging by the videos on the Injen site, it seems you will need to use silencers during normal cruising around town. It sounds really harsh and raspy. But there goes the power with the silencers. So maybe Borla is for me..? Decisions Decisions...

TXSTYLE...

Definitely need sound clips ASAP!!! I'm currently working on which setup I want to go with (had a $1K windfall and an exhaust upgrade is my logical choice..)

Would like to order this at the same time as some other stuff (that time being next week). Can you get us some sound clips soon? I'd like to hear it before I buy it.

Or, can you tell me what it is comparable to? I was sold on the MaxHax Flowmaster 80 set up. Is it deeper or about the same as a Flowmaster? I don't want something that sounds like a fartcan or raspy.

Barring a description, can I get you to call me and hold the receiver next to the exhaust as you rev your motor?

Default Awesome PICS

Hey TXSTYLE, I really envy you right now. I cant wait to order mine. But I have the same question as was already posted, can you attach the stock muffler diffuser onto the Borla. I dont know how much use it really has, but it was enough to justify Nissan putting it on the stock in the first place, just curious.

I'm also curious for anyone who might know: what the weights of the stock vs Borla vs dual exhaust Borla are? And while we're at it, what the weight of the SES Injen dual exhaust is?

TXSTYLE it looks sweeeet hope it sounds so too.

I can't wait to hear more about these exhausts also. My next goal was going to be to upgrade the sound system a bit, but now I am thinking, horsepower is waaaaaay more important!!!!

Horses or decibels, hmmmm, Horses!!!
