Use a revup engine on a non revup car
A friend has damaged his engine due to oil comsuption. He has a 2003 model and he has found a used revup engine with very low milleage, is possible to mount that engine on his car? it's matter of just use also the revup ECU or it's something else needed?
Any help will be appreciated

I'm on engine #1, and I autocross mine all over the west coast (and three trips, two of which were towing my little tire trailer behind the Z, to the National Championships in Topeka, KS).
40K miles, no "oil consumption" problems.
As far as the original question, you'll need the engine and ECU -- at least. If you have ABS, you'll probably want the ABS computer as well, since my 2005 doesn't throw ABS codes if I left-foot brake.

Use the rev-up block, and use everything else from your car. That would be the most straightfoward way to do it.
The block is identical, the heads are nearly identical (just have to plug exhaust cam position sensor hole)
