Default Slip and VDC lights came on

Well I just got my headers installed and my VDC and slip lights came on 30 yards down the road. I don't know where to start, once the lights are on i can't turn them off. Are the wires for wheel speed sensers running thru the eng bay ??? Thats the only think i can think of , but the ABS system is still working fine.
Where shoud i start, befoe i bring it in to the dealer?

I remember reading somewhere that those lights also come on when other non brake issues occur. So it's not necessarly a brake issue. Check your Mass airflow sensor, make sure it's plugged in. I started my car once with it unplugged and got all sorts of warning lights including those. Had to plug it back in, restart the car so the computer would recognise it's there again, then disconnect the battery for like 2 or 3 hours before it would reset. Hope that helps!

The same thing happened to me when i installed my turbos. When you disconnected the steering shaft either the wheels were moved or the shaft was not put back on perfect. To fix it you will have to go to the dealer and they will hook up the consult they will have to reprogram the steering angle sensor.

Did the installer disconnect the steering linkage? As superchargedg mentioned, members have reported problems with the steering angle sensor adversely affecting VDC operation.
